Yesterday we had a little test for Reanimation to see how much we learned/retained during the cycle. On Saturday we had to demonstrate CPR on the mannequin and were required to do it till we got it right. So I was pretty nervous about the test... especially since I was absent during the second lesson on CPR (due to the ultrasound crap). We had to go in one by one, and soon, it was my turn. There was a mannequin lying on a table in the middle of the room and the teacher was sitting in a corner. It was kinna scary, like a real exam, even... He began by asking me to demonstrate the Heimlich manoeuvre which I easily did, despite my 'patient' flailing her arms around. <.< Next, he asked about what I would do after I pulled a body out of the water. Basically, ya gotta check for clinical death and biological death because if the absolute signs of death are present, there's no point doing CPR, so don't waste yer energy. :P I was also asked about the dosage for adrenaline that is...
